Evan Turner Acknowledged For His Domination of the Big Ten

For the second straight week Evan Turner has been named Big Ten player of the week. With Turner having back-to-back epic weeks he joins former Buckeye forward Terrence Dials as the most recent Ohio State player to do such a thing.
Here’s what Turner did last week:
45% from the field
26 free throw attempts (18 makes)
11 assists
22 rebounds
44 points
Unfortunately for the Buckeyes Turner has officially played himself into possible lottery draft status. Most mock drafts now have him going #16 or higher, and though another year to work on his jump shot seems like a good idea, a guaranteed million dollar contract can normally make everything else irrelevant.
For what it’s worth B.J. Mullens is also still a first round lock, with mock drafts having him go as high as #5. Pros would be drafting Mullens on almost pure potential, as he has been lacking in defensive presence and any offensive game other than dunking the basketball. With OSU’s most recent luck in centers leaving early, Mullens will probably head off to get his most recently acquired facial knocked off his face by Dwight Howard & co.
